Santander appoints technology company Manchester to improve Prolific North liquidity management

Santander turned to Planixs to improve its liquidity management processes, including cash management, liquidity forecasting and risk mitigation.

The Manchester-based company already works with the Swiss Stock Exchange, AIB and First Bank.

“Santander is one of the largest banks in the world – one that is recognized worldwide and with GSIB [Global Systematically Important Banks] Status – which means it is under increased regulatory pressure, ”stated Neville Roberts, CEO of Planixs.

“Realiti was developed for such banks to give businesses real-time visibility and access from anywhere, enabling them to improve their cash and liquidity management processes and ensure regulatory compliance. We are delighted to have been selected by Santander to support the bank in achieving its treasury goals and look forward to a long relationship with the organization. “

Realiti software helps large banking businesses achieve “real-time liquidity control” and ensure regulatory compliance.

Santander explained that this is vital, especially with the Covid-19 pandemic, to reduce risk and allow employees to securely and securely share data and information while working remotely.

“We are very excited about the delivery of Realiti and the benefits of our liquidity management processes,” added Ross Morgan, division manager, CFO Division Treasury Middle Office & Operations.

“We are also very pleased to have found a strategic partner in Planixs with whom we can work to transform our treasury activities.”

Realiti is deployed using the Amazon High Availability Zone to avoid both component and location failures.
