After consulting with the police and security agencies, 13,000 home supporters and 3,000 United supporters will be admitted to the confrontation on Saturday, August 31, according to PNE.
These are initial allocations and will be checked when this capacity is reached.
It will be the first time fans have been to Deepdale for a game since March 7, 2020.

Tickets go on sale on Friday (July 16) at 9am and cost £ 15 for adults, £ 10 concessions (seniors and young adults) and £ 5 under 19.
For holders of season tickets 2021/22, places will be reserved until the end of business on Friday, July 23rd, if possible.
United’s visit will be the North End’s final friendly before the season kicks off on August 7 against Hull City.
Frankie McAvoy’s men will also face Manchester City on Tuesday 27 July at the City Academy Stadium.
