Greater Manchester Road police have been on patrol all night and have discovered a Volvo with cloned license plates parked in Eccles.
The car was confiscated.
Police tweeted, “The #TrafficPCSO patrol located this vehicle tonight in GMPSalford, Eccles, on the same street where it found a stolen vehicle last month. Volvo showed cloned license plates.
Meanwhile, in Manchester city center, drivers in dangerous condition vehicles with poor visibility were stopped.
GMP police tweeted: “PC Hussain has been looking into @GMPSpecials about vehicles that have been driven in a dangerous condition in the city.
“Some windows only let in 12.6% of the light and weren’t allowed to be driven. One driver said, ‘The guy who put them on told me I could handle them.'”
