A festival dedicated to all chicken returns to Manchester.

Wing Fest returns to Manchester for the second time.

It’s an event entirely dedicated to the chicken, although it’s much more than just pinning a few wings.

It promises to be a feast of mighty chicken wings, but festival goers can also listen to live music, watch barbecues, try their hand at the fair, and try their hand at ax throwing.

And of course we eat a lot.

A number of companies will prepare delicious chicken wings, all of which will compete to be the best, with the audience and a panel of experts casting their votes.

In fact, this year’s event is projected to serve 70,000 wings and they are only £ 1 each so you can try as many as possible.

There will also be eating contests if you think you are up to the challenge.

Where and when is it

The festival promises to be a fun weekend with music, entertainment and chicken

This year’s Wing Fest was supposed to take place in June, but has been postponed to September due to restrictions.

The Manchester Wing Fest has now been postponed to Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September.

As with its last appearance in the city in 2019, the festival will take place on First Street, South.
